Photography Exhibition: 30 Degree North Latitude of China
Monday, April 20 | 10:00 - 4:00 PM | 1st Floor Lobby, Center for Student Services

Featuring more than 30 photographs of natural landscape and local culture along the 30 degree north latitude of China, from the east coast to the western border. Caltech Chinese students will serve as tour guides to answer your questions throughout the day. Refreshments served. Hosted by the Caltech C (Caltech Chinese Association). Photos on loan from the Consulate General of China, Los Angeles.

A Trip to Italy

You're invited on a virtual tour of Italy. Learn about the different regions, their traditions and culinary habits - from Naples to Venice. This is a special presentation by Caltech student Elisa Franco for the Intercultural Discussion Group. Everyone is welcome. Free lunch for the first 30. Hosted by the Caltech Italian Club.

An Indian Wedding Extravaganza

If you've never seen an Indian wedding, you won't want to miss this opportunity. From the elaborate dresses to the week-long parties, you will enjoy celebrating marriage Indian-style! Neha and Manuj Swaroop will share how the process of an arranged marriage works in India and how they celebrated their wedding. Free Indian food for the first 30. Hosted by OASIS.

International Food Fair & Culture Show
Thursday, April 23 | 4:30 - 6:00 PM | Avery Courtyard | Tickets $3

Join us for a taste of the world from 4:30 - 5:30 PM! For just $3, sample foods from China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Iran, Italy, Korea, Malaysia, Romania, Thailand, and Turkey. After eating, stay to see traditional dances, hear exotic instruments, and view colorful fashions from around the world. Culture Show is free, beginning at 5:30 PM. Food and performances provided by Caltech student clubs.

Sounds of Korea: Performance
Friday, April 24 | 8:00 PM | Beckman Auditorium | Tickets $28, $23, $18 / $10 youth

Drums of Ecstasy and the mesmerizing Fan Dance are among the repertoire of Sounds of Korea. Interpreting folk music and music of the classical Korean court, this ensemble uses a wide variety of beautifully crafted instruments and colorful costumes in a stunning presentation of traditional performances. This is a presentation by the Caltech Performing Arts Series.
